We are pleased to announce the North State Football Officials Association has decided to award six $1000 college expense scholarships for the 2012 college school year to individual football team associates from schools serviced by our association. Our Scholarship Committee will evaluate recommendations submitted by schools and six individuals will be selected for these scholarships.

The primary intent of our program is to identify and provide assistance to those individuals who might not otherwise be financially able to begin attending a college of their choice. Our intent is not to further recognize or assist those individuals who may already receive, a “full-ride scholarship” from other sources.

We seek your recommendations for those 2012 senior class students we should consider for our scholarships. Enclosed is a list of instructions and an application form to be completed. We would greatly appreciate adherence to our May 1, 2012 submittal deadline in order that we may select and notify the recipients in a timely manner.
